As of Monday May 15, I will be at a new location: 53 Arlington Street. Other than the location, not much is changing. I will continue to practice psychotherapy that is informed by a deep and abiding belief that healing and recovery are possible for all of us. For those of you who don’t know me, here is a bit about my practice: I work with folks recovering from addiction and other self-damaging behaviors, with an emphasis on exploration of the dynamic forces driving the behavior and with a goal of helping people reconnect to the world. I have extensive experience working with trauma- specifically sexual assault and intimate partner violence.  I enjoy working with individuals and couples around relationship issues and I specialize in working with “high conflict” relationships. My approach to working with interpersonal conflict is informed by my training in Integrative Couples Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My overall guiding framework is psychodynamic but I value the prosaic work of building skills as well as the more esoteric work of gaining insight and finding meaning. I am grateful to have been involved in the Porch Light collective and for the support I received in taking on the daunting challenge of starting my own practice. I love my work- it never stops challenging and amazing me- and I am looking forward to continuing my practice in a new space. Please reach out if you have questions or feedback.
